Grass

Grass is the covering of the town in the the Animal Crossing series. The grass is replaced by snow in December and lasts until late February. It will chance colors throughout the year, and can appear as different shapes: Circles, squares, and triangles.

Deterioration

Grass will slowly deteriorate as time passes and the player walks over it. This can be prevented slightly by placing a pattern over grass. Grass is regrown by planting flowers and watering them every day. Rain and snow will accelerate grass restoration.
